Lela Vujanić

Lela is a media policy researcher, educator, and editor from former Yugoslavia specializing in media funding and revenue models. Currently, she contributes to Project Oasis as regional research manager for Central and Eastern Europe. In Project Oasis, she coordinated a team of national researchers for 15 CEE countries and co-authored a narrative report on the sustainability, impact and innovation of digital native media in Europe.
She is a lecturer and trainer, mainly at Vern University Zagreb, teaching students on European programs and funds and training adults in project management.
Previously, Lela worked for the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia as Head of the Media Department, responsible for implementing different mechanisms of support for the media sector. She was principally responsible for developing the first national fund for non-profit media support.
