Maciek Piasecki

Maciek is reporting on civil liberties in Poland and the CEE region, covering protests and humanitarian endeavours using multimedia techniques, with particular focus on social media distribution. Maciek's footage provided evidence in numerous cases of activists falsely accused of crimes by the police.

He's currently employed by Polskie Radio, a public broadcaster in Poland, while also providing trainings in personal cybersecurity and law enforcement monitoring aimed at individuals and organisations interested in spreading truthful information.

An Internews fellowship alumni, he uses TTX and VR techniques to make the
trainings relevant, effective and engaging.

Maciek is also engaged in self-advocacy work for people with mental disabilities
and is encouraging everyone interested in the topic to get in touch.
