Peace Tech Lead at Austrian Centre for Peace
Nathan is a British digital activist and former Director of a leading civic innovation organization who currently leads Peace Technology initiatives at The Austrian Centre for Peace in Vienna. With a wealth of international experience, Nathan has partnered with governments worldwide, including the central governments of the UK, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Canada, Kenya, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and more, to enhance their digital outreach efforts.
Employing innovative strategies like hackathons, toolkit design, civic tech, and human-centred design, Nathan has facilitated transformative initiatives aimed at fostering digital engagement and social innovation. Notably, Nathan delivered a TEDx talk on the importance of open data in driving positive social change. His contributions extend to writing for publications such as The Huffington Post, The Guardian, and Vice Media. Additionally, he is a developer and graphic designer, infusing creativity into every aspect of policy design.
