Natia Kukhilava

Natia is the Co-founder and CTO of Helio.AI, where she leads the development of advanced AI solutions. She holds a master's degree in computer science and has accumulated diverse experience as both an AI engineer and researcher.
Since 2022, she has been contributing as an AI researcher within the GAIN consortium, focusing on affective computing. Her primary research involves emotion recognition from biosignals and facial video, a field in which she has co-organized a workshop at the ACII 2024 conference. She has also co-authored a publication on emotion recognition from facial video in collaboration with French and Italian AI researchers.
At Helio.AI, Natia’s work extends to the development of language models, with one of the startup’s key achievements being the successful deployment of a job-resume matching AI system. Additionally, she has been a lecturer at the Georgian Technical University for the past three years and a seminarist at Stanford’s CS106A online course for the past semester. Also, in 2024, Natia was honored to be named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in the 'Tech and E-commerce' category.
